How we started.
At the beginning of 2019, Franca had a vision to protect children and their rights. 4 years later, we're still fighting for children - day in, day out. Read the story of what happened in between. In 2021 Franca Charity Home raised considerable funds for orphanage children in desperate need. Single donations ranged from $2,00 to $10,000.00. It gave the money to organisations working to feed and educate children in Ghana.
Love
In the Bible there's a story of an orphan girl named Hadassah. After her parents died, her cousin took her in. She grew up to become queen—we know her as Esther—and God used her to save the Jewish people. “Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14). You can provide holistic, Gospel-centered daily care, education, and discipleship to orphaned and vulnerable children in developing countries
Compassion
The Compassion Orphanage in Ghana was set up 4 years ago by Franca Davies. They adopted a child with severe learning and physical disabilities who had been abandoned in the maternity where Franca worked as a nurse midwife. Because of their extraordinary love and generosity they took in more children after the first adopted child died, while looking after their own three children.
